Greetings, Closeteers!

Just a quick hello.
I actually did find a job, which occupies me from 7:45am until about 4:15pm (counting transport) from Monday to Friday. Yay! It means less time to myself, which is both a good and a bad thing.
Thank you to the... 21 people who actually filled the survey. I'll consider that those are pretty much how many people WILL order, so the number of buttons made will be chosen accordingly. It'll probably mean that I'll have a lower number of designs.
I will kick my ass and actually do the designs this weekend, and hopefully manage to get them ordered this week.

As for the survey's result, here are the results:
1. Weirdly enough, Wiwian came in first. Followed closely by Jonne and Theon (ex aqueo), Jussi and Janne (bros :D), Rumors, Kris, Chulian and... Eicca. Antti (NGT), Commodore and Teemu get the next mentions.
2. The winner of the "Other" category was incontestably Jann Wilde.
Fine. (doesn't mean other mentioned won't appear)
3. With high majorities, Uniklubi, Lovex, Negative and Apocalyptica were pointed out as favorite bands for the buttons.
4. People from 12 countries over the world answer this survey :D Austria, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Australia, Italy, Costa Rica, Portugal, Finland, Denmark and France :D
5. Most people voted for buying 5 buttons, then 10, so I'm probably going to make it a customizable amount :P
6. I got a lot of, "all comics are good for buttons" and such. Thank you :D Otherwise, a lot of mentions of those with Wiwian and Theon, Jussi is more - , Innocent, Pink & Sparkly and Gaffaman. Quite workable =)

It's very sad that I can't have an unlimited amount of designs in my order. I have so many ideas, the toughest will be to choose >_> *sigh*

Also, in time for Halloween, I'll have a zoo for you ;D

Request / News

I have a special request for YOU, dear readers.
Some of you don't really know the bands I'm talking about, so I thought I'd make pages for each of those bands, with a little bio and stuff.
Problem is, there are so many bands, news ones entering the closet, that if I do that alone, it'll be up for 2008. Also, if I'm very obsessed with some bands, I know very little about others.
So I'm kinda requesting your assistance, to whoever wants to help, to gather info/write short bios of your favorite bands from the Closet.
If you're interested, send me a mail at closet.inc.sseksi(at)gmail(dot)com.
Requirement: you must have so much fun doing it that I don't have to ask you 10 times before I get it. ;-)
Little final note: the Advent Calendar will end on December 25th, and on that day also I will create a page with all of the Advent doodles. So if you missed some, you'll be able to see them all there. I will also make a New Year pic (no doodle, a real pic ;-) ). And I already got one comic under construction for 2007.

Happy December to everyone!
I decided that I'd put up some goodies on Closet Inc. everyday until December 25th. I'll only post this link once, but it's available on the first page of Closet Inc.

New Old Comics!

Confusing title...Well, it's quite simple. I mentionned that I'd be redrawing some of the old comics I published, well, I actually more like "rearranged" them. Rescanned them, cleaned them and colored them with photoshop - Gods and Godesses bless photoshop. So here are the first 3 I did - in 2 days.

"Lash me with your whip..."

This one was inspired by the For My Pain... song "Dear Carniwhore", sang by Juha Kylmänen (who is also singer for Reflexion). In said song, the chorus is as follows:
"Licking your bloody lipsSmiling and sucking your fingertipsLash me with your whipI'm your slaveMy dear Carniwhore"
So yeah. I took it litteraly. Singers, be aware of what you're singing. Lol.

...lerppu?

Ok, I may be shooting my own foot by displaying this one here. Featuring: Teemu Rajamäki, bassist for Uniklubi. The joke: in French (my first language), the pronounciation of his name is exactly like "T'es mou", contracted form of "Tu es mou", which means "You are soft", more in a "You are not hard" way. Finns will have understood the joke at this point, I think. "Lerppu" is in Finnish, and it's how we planned to explain it to Teemu. I just pictured his reaction to it, and drew it there. *chuckles* We wanted to tell him ourselves, but my comics are getting broadcasted out of my control, so I guess we can forget about that.

Selocest

Again, featuring members from Uniklubi, Jussi and Janne Selo, respectively singer and guitarist/back vocalist. In their first video, Rakkauta Ja Piikkilankaa, Janne has his head against Jussi's shoulder and chest, and apparently has his mouth opened (see it at 3:55 in the video, but it's quick, so keep a sharp eye). So we joked around that, also considering that we got a picture of them kissing. The important fact in all of this: they are brothers. (Janne is the older one)
So it's ~incest~, but it's the Selo brothers, so it's Selocest.

(You think that this idea is sick? You should read a couple of the many fanfictions that take it much further than that... lol)

So yeah, that's it. More to come. I'm not gonna arrange them all, cause some of them are just doodle, not proper to be redrawn or not worth the time. If you got a request, send me a message specifying which comic you'd like to be redrawn. Until then...

There's at least 7 more to come. 2 tomorrow, maybe more, maybe different ones... If I'm to update weekly, I need to keep some of them for later or I won't have any idea left to update with!

And remember: like Turtle, duuude. and League Hunt!, you CAN request comics. Be a little more specific than "with Ville in", though.

First, I will now try to update the Closet at least once a week. Yeah, I know, it's been a month (insert Scarlett's accent here) since I had put something up. I will try to avoid that. I already have much ideas for next strips, so I may well draw them now, complete them on computer, and save them for later. Muahahaha.
